Cadabra New Zealand is an online travel booking site where you can research, plan and book your entire tour of our beautiful country.
You can build your own itinerary as simply or as detailed as you like.
- You can choose accommodation, transport, rental vehicles, and attractions and build your own Itinerary. This is a good option if you know New Zealand pretty well and know where you want to go.
- You can use our fantastic Itinerary Wizard to build a unique itinerary specifically for your needs. This is the favourite option if you would like help with the best way to travel around New Zealand making sure you take in certain destinations and sights and activities.
- Or you can review and copy recommended itineraries that have been used by travelers before. Good if you are looking for inspiration!
However you start - you can adjust your itinerary in any way you want to - to get it perfect for your holiday of a lifetime. Once you have completed your planning you can simply book your trip - and we will take care of the rest! All the bookings will be made and confirmation numbers obtained. You can then print out a detailed itinerary with all the information you need, including driving instructions (if you are driving) and details of every location you visit.

Building your own itinerary is easy with Cadabra New Zealand. Simply surf around the website looking at the accommodation, activities, rental vehicle and transport options; pick your favourites and click "add to itinerary". The itinerary will be displayed with your selections for the dates entered. You can simply change the dates to reorganize your itinerary and insert and delete items as you wish. As you select services in different locations, the system will automatically calculate the road journey times for you (if you have already selected a rental vehicle) or offer the various transport options.
Once you are happy with the options selected you can book the itinerary…and start packing for your perfect holiday!

The Itinerary Wizard combines all of our knowledge of New Zealand with world leading technology to plan your ideal holiday based on your preferences. Your transport and accommodation preferences together with the destinations you know you wish to visit and the types of activities you enjoy, are used to build a number of recommended itinerary options uniquely for you. You can then change these itineraries in any way you want to (or just book it as it is!)
You can run the itinerary wizard as many time as you want with different options (using the tabs to look at all the choices available) and optomise it by "picking" (clicking the "Pick This" button) destination, accommodation, activities etc that you want in your itinerary. (Your picks are available to be displayed on the "My Picks tab.) Further you can use the Weightings screen (access from the Itinerary Wizard Summary screen) to indicate which of your selections are most important to you. Rerun the Itinerary Wizard and a brand new selection with be ready for you.

Recommended Itineraries are itineraries that other travelers have completed and we recommend. They are accessed from the home page and there are itineraries listed under a number of categories. You can review these and when you find one you like copy it to base your own plans on, then modify it in any way you wish, before booking your dream holiday. (To copy an itineray use the "copy and modify" button at the top left of the itinerary)

Modifying an itinerary is easy! Use the Insert, Modify and Cancel buttons on each itinerary item to add change or delete items.
When you select insert you will be asked for the item type(eg accommodation, attractions, rental cars etc) you wish to add and the dates you are looking for. You will be taken to a search results screen with the available options for your preferences.
Select Modify if you want to change the dates or times, or rooms for accommodation. You can also add or remove travelers from this service, or select options that may be available.
Select Cancel to remove an item completely from the itinerary.

Once you have the itinerary how you want it - hit the Book Now button at the bottom of the itinerary. The services will all be rechecked for availability and the total price redisplayed. After checking Cadabra's Terms and Conditions click the pay now button to proceed to the credit card payment screen. Payments are processed in New Zealand dollars - this should equate to the equivalent amount we have displayed in your currency when your bank converts it (approximately).
Even once you have booked an itinerary you can still modify it, but if you cancel a service there may be cancellation fees applicable. Information on these is available on the modify screen at all times - and the cancellation fees applicable are displayed for you confirmation if you do cancel a service after booking.
Additional charges or refunds for bookings will be calculated - if you need to pay more addition payment requested by credit card. If a refund it due will process that on the next business day (New Zealand time).
